Multicartridge Filter Vessels

When flow rates are higher than those of domestic types, cartridge filter vessels are required that can accommodate several units and are longer than the more conventional 10-inch. By having a larger filtration area, the pressure drop will be acceptable and a decrease in the frequency of cartridge replacements is obtained, in addition to increasing the solids retention capacity.

The materials of the cartridge filter vessels can also present several options depending on the filtration application. The most frequently used materials are 304 stainless steel, 316 stainless steel and PVC.
